Overview

Maximum Multimedia Services Ltd. is an ultra high tech, cutting edge telecommunications, data and media service provider. Not merely a content generator or reseller of wholesale bandwidth, Maximum Multimedia Services Ltd. will actually own the switching, cabling and head-end provisioning of multimedia technology. From "soup to nuts", all aspects of the triad of media services (Telephone, Internet and CATV) are served up in a virtually bandwidth unlimited WiMAX wireless platform and supportive fiber optic IP infrastructure, providing the ultimate in mobile connectivity.

Locations & Facilities

The head office of Maximum Multimedia Services Ltd. is in Lagos. Technical facilities are located at strategic points of interest as required for the deployment and successful operations of the network, such as our field office in Osogbo, Osun state. Points of Presence (PoP) are established on a needs basis and at strategic locations to accommodate the interconnection with other operators. Internet connections are currently via VSAT and will eventually migrate onto cable connections to an internet node. The internet node will have international connection via the under sea cable system. All facilities are connected via a fiber backbone. HECOs are located in the capital city of Abuja and Osogbo.

The main HECO in Abuja also serves as the local PoP for Abuja. This facility has state-of-the-art cutting edge technology, which will be future-proofed for many years to come. The system has been engineered to very high specifications, notably in the "hot-swap" area, where a simple card change accomplishes an upgrade rather than a complete overhaul or "forklift upgrade". No less than 250,000 square feet, the facilities are the model for all following HECO builds throughout the continent. It houses not only technology, as a PoP would, but it also serves as a point of public contact. More than adequate parking is slated for both employee and public needs. There are separate Corporate Offices, employee and public entrances, and meeting facilities. A completely separate parking area for company storage and vehicles exist, as well as a "yard" for construction deployment purposes.

Maximum Multimedia Services Ltd. holds up this facility as the technological wonder it is – something that will place Nigeria at the top of the technological mountain far superior to any other public multimedia facilities in the world.

Staffing

Maximum Multimedia Services Ltd. employs individuals with key skill sets needed to build and maintain its infrastructure. The major staffing objectives of the company are to:

  1. Employ personnel based on needs of the company in the key areas
  2. Maintain a "slim" workforce but highly qualified and experienced staff
  3. Employ expatriate staff where staff locally cannot be found
  4. Implement training programs that will help staff stay current in their area of expertise
  5. Start with the minimum number of employees and as revenue increases, grow the employee base

As a telecommunications service provider we seek specific skill sets in areas such as networking, switching, transmission, service implementation, infrastructure deployment, operations, customer service, finance, sales, management, research, planning, etc. We first look locally for these skills and then next outside of Nigeria. We bring in expatriates to fill key areas where such expertise and level of experience are not found in Nigeria.

We implement training programs where staff both technical and non-technical and at all levels will have the opportunity to grow within the company and at the same time provide the best services to the company and it's customers. Expatriates are required to provide training in their areas of expertise to the local staff.
